About Mikey - Director & Bricklayer
Mikey has over 16 years experience as a Bricklayer. He qualified at Level 3 NVQ Bricklaying at age 17 and has since achieved a range of additional qualifications. Mikey has full CSCS, Health & Safety & all relevant insurances upon request.
Mikey is proud to be a highly-recommended builder in Lancashire, specialising in extension building, flagging, block work, footings, full house builds, pointing, brick work, landscaping, floor tiling, conservatory bases, drainage and many more.
About Charlie
Charlie ensures the business runs smoothly. She is usually the first point of contact for our lovely customers and is always on hand to ensure our services run as they should.
Charlie has a background in Business Management. She goes above and beyond to ensure customers experience the very best services whilst rectifying any issues that may arise.
About Brad
Brad is our newest and youngest recruit. He is an apprentice currently working towards his Level 2 Bricklaying Qualification.
Brad is a budding bricklayer that seems quiet but secretly has a dark sense of humour...

Qualifications
You can book Whirlwind Building with peace of mind that we are fully qualifed and certified. Our qualifications include:
- National Diploma in Brick Laying
- CSCS
- COSHH
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Fire Warden Training
- Working at Height Awareness
- Manual Handling Awareness
Not all of these qualifications are required to be a builder, but we believe it's beneficial to keep up to date with industry changes.
We are also covered with full liability insurance and can produce evidence of this should it be required.
